Character coverage affects file size. Full covers 11,172 Hangul syllables; Lite covers 2,350. Character counts are Unicode mappings, not glyph counts. Official files are compared without modification. MB means 1,000,000 bytes, not ZIP size. Static TTF is the sum of nine files. Freesentation variable TTF 2.001 has nine named styles, but its actual weight axis is 100–800. Its official release does not include variable WOFF2. Even official formats can have different coverage. SUIT 2.0.5 WOFF2 includes 2,668 Hangul syllables; its TTF includes 11,172.

Korean 한글, English and numbers 0123456789 share a sentence. Headings and body text use the same typeface, with size and weight setting the reading order.
Type carries meaning and shapes a first impression. A heading can speak clearly while body text stays quiet.

05 / WHY SAMETONE
The familiarity of a sans serif,
with just a little more serif expression.
When designing presentations, I often place a large English heading next to small Korean text, or mix several weights within one sentence. Forms that looked fine alone could feel awkward together.
Adding terminals to Korean letters turned out to be delicate work. A small detail repeated across consonants and vowels quickly pushed the whole syllable toward a traditional Myeongjo appearance. I chose to preserve the familiar structure and adjust selected details.
Latin contrast, Korean density, numbers and symbols all needed attention. SameTone now brings them into one design with nine weights. A focused character repertoire, excluding Hanja and other ranges, makes room for Full and Lite editions.

This derivative typeface modifies and combines permitted sources from Pretendard, Playfair Display and Noto. Freesentation informed research into coverage and production; its outlines are not included. See the complete notices shipped with each package.
The variable font uses STAT and one wght axis. Automated checks and application tests are separate; Office, Hancom and Keynote testing for this release is not complete.

Both editions include Latin-1, basic Greek and common punctuation and mathematical symbols. Hanja, square unit symbols such as ㎏, extended Latin, Cyrillic, kana, Greek Extended, fullwidth characters and PUA icons are excluded. Unsupported characters use fallback fonts.
Full includes all 11,172 modern Hangul syllables. Lite contains the 2,350 KS X 1001 syllables. Full and Lite have different family names and can coexist. Choose either static or variable TTF for each edition. For Office, start with static TTF.
Link fonts.css from the web ZIP and set weights with font-weight. Italics are not included.
